🚨 Applications Are Now Open! HVISTEM Mentorship Program, Cohort 1!
STEM Girls Connect, in collaboration with STEM Women Powerhouse and Meet the Girl Cameroon, is proud to announce the launch of the Her Vision to Impact STEM Mentorship Program (HVISTEM), a free, fully virtual 3month mentorship experience for young women aged 15–25 with a science background, running July 27 to October 27, 2026.
This program is designed to help young women transition from aspiration to impact. Through structured group training sessions and personalized oneonone mentorship with experienced women in STEM, selected participants will:
✅ Learn how to develop a personalized STEM Career Roadmap ✅ Gain foundational skills in Public Speaking, Leadership, and Digital Literacy ✅ Learn how to identify, source, and successfully apply for global opportunities for women in STEM ✅ Become part of a supportive lifelong Peer Learning Network ✅ Receive oneonone mentorship from an experienced female STEM professional ✅ Graduate with a Certificate of Completion, jointly signed by all partner organizations, upon successfully completing the program
Only 30 spots are available, open to young women across Cameroon. Selection is competitive but inclusive, with priority given to girls transitioning to university, earlystage university students, and those from underserved communities.
To be eligible, applicants must be aged 15–25, hold at least a GCE Ordinary Level certificate with science subjects, and have access to a smartphone or computer with reliable internet.
