🚨 Call for Mentors! HVISTEM Mentorship Program, Cohort 1!
STEM Girls Connect, in collaboration with STEM Women Powerhouse and Meet the Girl Cameroon, is calling on experienced women in STEM to join us as mentors for the Her Vision to Impact STEM Mentorship Program (HVISTEM) – Cohort 1.
HVISTEM is a free, fully virtual 3month program running July 27 – October 27, 2026, designed to empower young women aged 15–25 with a science background across Cameroon.
As a mentor, you will be paired with a mentee during Phase 2 of the program (September – October 2026) based on field alignment and mentee interests. Mentorship is fully virtual, with the option to meet in person if you and your mentee are in the same city.
Your commitment as a mentor: ✅ Meet your mentee at least once a week during the September – October mentorship phase ✅ Offer guidance, career clarity, and professional support ✅ Help shape the next generation of women in STEM
This is a voluntary, unpaid role. Your time, experience, and guidance are the greatest contribution you can make.
